The Szentes Micro-region

The Szentes Micro-region is in the Southern Plains region, and is located in the northeastern portion of Csongrád County. Its natural borders are the Tisza River to the west and the Hármas-Körös River to the northeast.

The hub of the micro-region is Szentes, which is the third most populous city in Csongrád County.

The micro-region also includes two larger villages: Szegvár and Nagymágocs, as well as five small villages, namely Fábiánsebestyén, Derekegyház, Eperjes, Arpádhalom and Nagytőke.
